Post Engine missing under load
All of a sudden, the 602 was missing under load, but never stalled - intermittent.

First thoughts - ignition - contact breaker.
Then was it the condensor ?
Or was it the coil ?
Could it be the petrol pump
Perhaps a blocked jet ? Yesterday, for no other reason than it was easier to take the lid off the carb, I found a big lump of paint swimming in the fuel bowl. Cleaned it all out, removed all jets - didn't find any more rubbish. A test run went all OK and today another run of 40Km and all was well. I hope that is the end of it.

I would be checking where the first lump of paint come from first and clean the fuel system.

Looked at the points, which were sparking when opening and closing. Visited local Citroen garage and bought new points and condenser - seems OK now and no sparks at the points. Dare I say FIXED ??

the origional starter key switch is prone to packing up- if its knackered make sure you disable the steering lock part of it
