Some good pics of Geo's set up here.
I think a BLOS lpg carb is the way to go, but rated between 60-180hp... only read great reviews about them.

I know there is another thread here or on snail but farked if I can find it...

I see a place in Wales - classic swedes - they do a LPG set up for the other A-series BLC Mini
I have run the 2cv on a su carb before (groans from the back) so a mixer is available for this size of carb
Does the part on ebay above replace the carb? Or fit in series?
I only had a quick look at the site as off to work

BLOS sits before the carb, it is a mixer that acts like an SU carby ;-)

My LPG system is heated by engine oil. Works ok.

If its heated by engine oil - does this need a special mixer?
Surely you don't run the oil through the ones meant for water
Does it have a manufaturesrs plate etc
Thanks

its from Coltec (or colteg)

typenumber VG 289 E

it is meant for water but takes pressures of 30-45 kps, anyway, works on my 2cv

there is no E-number on it so you might have to put another in for approval. My car went to the approval with one that would explode after about two hours of usage, but it had the right e-number. After the approval the safe (but e-numberless) one was fitted.

yes, but you'd have to get about 25 to 30 km/l to match the costs of fuel that I tank... (1/12 to 1/15 LPG) LPG costs about half compared to petrol overhere. Since I drive a lot (also for my work) all over the Netherlands it's worth the troubles.
