Post Remote oil filter
I'm thinking of fitting a remote oil filter to my 425 Azam's engine, would it be best to break into the oil cooler feed pipe? is the pump up to it would a motorcycle type be preferable, I know its not original but can only be a good thing judging from the sludge in the sump on strip down :o

Post Re: Remote oil filter
I don't know the 435cc engine but assume it doesn't have oil filter...
I understand that the way a 602 oil cooler works is that the circuit will bypass it if it is blocked, this would mean that by adding a remote filter inline with the oil cooler would not filter all the oil I suspect, but some is better than none!
I also believe that modern filters also have a bypass in the event they are blocked also.

Hope that helps...
