I drive with this barrels for almost 5000 km now.

http://autobouwservice.nl/webwinkel/ind ... 37&lang=NL

They are running very well. I have more power specially at low rpm.

The pistons are made special from mold alloy, and are o,o5 kg less then original pistons.

No problem even with a towcar.

sorry for the bad spell i am dutch.

Result from dyno:

All value are mesured at the wheels and no correction for losses in gearbox or friction from tyres.

2cv from dad (650cc forged Pistons and powertube) 31,57 HK (stock tires)

My 2cv pickup (650cc forged Pistons and powertube) 30,14 HP (with 155/60R15 winter tyre)

Cars from other people:

2cv (650cc cast Pistons and powertube) 29,5 HP (stock tire's)
2cv (650cc cast Pistons and powertube) 28,1 HP (stock tire's)

3 different 2cv (602cc stock engine) Without powertube ~ 24,5 with powertube ~ 25,5 HP

looks like the forged pistons perform little better. Powertube give 1 ~ 1,5 extra HP

2cv from dad 31,57 HP @ 5250 rpm

My pickup 30,14 @ 5550 rpm

Most stock engine max HP at 5500 rpm

I will take a picture from the graph when i am home

Here is the graph. Only thing is my gearbox is longratio Thats why my rpm is 300 more than
my dad. Dyno settings are for stoch gearbox.

The engine makes less revs then graph say. Max HP is ~ 5200 rpm not 5550

The bleu line is my pickup. The red line is a stock 602 cc same dyno same settings same day.

Both grapths look good. Do you know why your engine produces different power to you dads?

Because i have more losses my tires are 3cm wider and they are winter tires with more resitance. 155/60R15

dad have 125/80R15

The mersurement is at the wheels.

I think when my engine is in dad's car te output at the wheels is almost the same.

We have go to the dyno before (2008) then we have stock engines and dad have already 1 HP more then my 24 and 25 HP.

Next time i have to fit smaller tires to beat dad. ;)
