Some chap called Mark on the 2cvgb forum now owns it. It was originally built by a guy called Richard Winter, a Lotus specialist & featured in 'Cars & Car Converisons back in January 1991 & packed a mid-mounted Alfa lump, IIRC.
He rescued it last year after it had been sat for 12 years outside in a yard in Southport, minus its engine & 'box, front suspension & a shot chassis. It's now 1800 VVC powered & is mostly MGF under the skin, although outwardly it looks very similar to when it was first featured nearly 20 years ago!
