Yes, I got back from the Waggel last night and have taken lots of pics which I've yet to download. There's a bit too much to write about so I'll do a story for the magazine. A bit disappointed that I was the ONLY Brit to make it - there was one chap from Scotland who drove a Xsara. 191 entrants, a whole variety of Citroens of all models but lots and lots of H vans. The weather was not too bad, the Dutch people (of course) were fantastically friendly and the beer from the micro-breweries was exceptionally good.

4x4 broke then Mark?

Most of the Dutch who would normally go to Waggel were at the French National. It was a very unfortunate clash of dates as I would normally do both meetings. Its not like the FN wasn't predictable [date wise] as its always Ascension weekend.

No. I ran out of time on the run up to the meeting so had to go on Friday instead of Thursday so I just decided to throw stiff in the Xsara and get there quick! It was a Citroen meeting after all and it's not as if the Dutch have not seen the 4x4 before...

OK, the only Brit with a 2CV ;) . It was after all run by the Citroen Club Nederland and open to all Citroens although there was a fair scattering of other makes.
