Punky
That was my car. I did have a brief chat with your friends and admired their Acadiane which was painted with a roller using Apple Green household paint. They'd made a good job of it too and I could barely tell the difference from a properly sprayed finish. I was a bit concerned about your friends as I felt they might like loud 'music' and late nights but I couldn't have been more mistaken. No probs whatsoever. The best few nights camping I can ever recall.
Paul

Waggel was great this year.. When we arrived there was no place left at the main field, so we planned to move on to another campsite. But every campsite we've called was fully booked and no places left. So decided to stay at waggel at an field next to the main field. Had a great time there!
A beach nearby on which 4x4 and old army vehicels could play.

Only sunday on the way back a spring on my carb broke (not the throttle/carb return spring, but one on the throttle valve axle). With the throttle full open the broken spring got stuck and the engine started to rev flat out when I released the gas pedal. Did a quick bodge with punky by using a seat rubber as an extra carb return spring. Heavy on the gas but it brought me home. Next week I'll rebuild the carb ;)

Pictures during the next couple of days ;)

cool! I can't wait, never been to a Waggelmeeting, I hope it'll be on next year, then I can do it as a 'warm up' to the Worldmeeting.

Well I wouldn't describe the Waggel as 'great', in fact I was seriously thinking of returning on the Saturday. More about it in my article for the 2CVGB mag but it wasn't quite what I expected. Imagine a carpark of Citroens next to a steam rally. That in short was it. If the steam rally hadn't been there, there would have been very little to do.
