I think there's a danger this might descend into a farce.

I'm working on a 'mail' version.

Hey Tom,

Having been to the excellent Halloween camp this weekend I've got another recommendation for you

Try and make sure your location is within safe walking distance of a pub or ideally, in the grounds of a pub. That way people don't have to worry about food and if the weather's really bad.... people can stay in the pub which is much nicer than a muddy field ;)

Another thing for you to think about, Tom.

to prevent any nonsense with the Old Bill etc thinking you are organising one of those illegal raves, you'll need to get a Temporary Events Notice from your local council. :?

This costs about £25, and gives a whole load of rules and regulations that you MUST stick to if alcohol and revelry are taking place. Oh, and you'll be personally liable if things get out of hand.

Just something else to consider...

cheers all, ive been hiding away in my cage sorting a few things out, Alcohol on site could be done but it was a mere thought, is the local pub not a good alternative rather than having drinks on site which may *may* encorage others who are not A series owners. Ive been sorting out the convoy, loos, showers, field (nice gravel for the enterance) smooth and flat (no getting stuck) 3 exits/ enterances, all in easy reach in case of an emergency and an over flow field just in case.
Tom.
