What are you on? I have only done the pads once since i have owned the car.. apart from the dodgy master cylinder and the exhaust rubbing through the brake pipe thats it! (D*lly!)

The Ami is still on the brakes it came with when i got it... didnt even change them! lol! :shock:

On my current 2cv, my discs have done at least 97,000 miles and I had the same pads for about 70,000+ miles and only changed them coz they had glazed and were not as effective as they should be.

Timmy, I drove your D*lly to Norwich last summer, and, while it went bloody fast, its stopping power was bloody shite!

Well I do tend to work weekends, but I've requested that one off(without mentioning the fact it's Easter ;) ), so with some luck(and judgement),I'll be there :D

been driving sarahs car today and yes my wollies brakes are crap but it still stops when you put the right amount of effort in!
