Hey Becky - how about some more info?! Where, when, entertainment, prices etc! It might entice some 'armchair' mambers out!

Re: 2009 2CVGB (INTER)National - Wild East, St Ives, Cambs
2CVGB (inter)National meeting, Thursday 27th to Monday 31st August 2009 (Bank holiday weekend) Being held at Burleigh Hill Farm, just outside St Ives, Cambs. It will be a nice 'old skool' meeting, combining all the simple pleasures we love as 2cv'ers. Instead of a marquee we have use of two barns, one being a glorious stone and timber affair, which has inspired our Wild West theme for the meeting. The ususal fun and frolics then - A real ale bar (and wine, lager etc) Celidh band on Saturday night & most prob a decent other band on Sunday night Top notch disco that will be pumping out our plenty of retro choons and back in the day floor fillaz Good food on site Good bogs & showers Well definied 'quiet' and 'noisy' areas so everyone can make their own choice and NOT MOAN ABOUT IT LATER Nice flat well drained field(s), caravan hookups possibly available if you're soft Easyto get to from A14/A1, north, south and west Bonfire (hopefully), Scenic drive to Britain's lowest pub Silly games (2cv jousting/waterbombing, car pulling etc) And above all, Good company! The website will be launched by the end of the month and details of how to pre-book will be available through it. See you there! Will

Exactly, what timmy says. It may be hard for i suppose as you havnt ever met noone so just turning up coould be a tad scary. Last memory of someone new was mr ratheram at registers he looked like a duck out of water. All nervous. That soon changed though. Get a train and we will welcome you with open arms.
