 36th 2cvGB (inter) National Meeting of 2cv Friends  36th 2cvGB National Meeting of 2cv FriendsArranged in cahoots with the Classic 2cv Racing Club's 24hr race. The 2cvGB event will run Noon Thursday (28th August) - Noon Monday (1st September). This is the weekend AFTER the August bank holiday. Thursday NightInformal evening with 2cv band (a good one  ) Friday NightBlackbeard's Tea Party (of ICCCR fame) - EPIC folk/rock ceilidh band. SaturdayRace day, race times tbc, but 24hr will be preceded by an all A Series parade lamp (like Spa). Race live streamed from the beer tent SundayChill out day, scenic drives, trip to local food festival. Oh and a BANGING eurotrash disco in the evening. Beer tent with ACTUAL beer in an ACTUAL tent in, possibly, the largest tent at a UK 2cv event ever - 24 meters of it. Fairly straightforward camp: no theme, no complications. Beer + racing + music. Bar open till 1am every night, hot food and FIRE pits, plus track opportunities (like Spain). Anglesey Race Track, Anglesey, UKBook in early. £30/Adult all in.
