This weekend (Sept 14th/15th) members of Leics-Car-Go! will be attending the Melton Autograss Weekender in Shepshed, Leicestershire (not far from M1/J23)
You are welcome to join us: strictly speaking, this is not a 2CV event, though we will have our own area to pitch in
It's an action-packed weekend of dirt-oval racing, from entry-level junior Minis up to huge and fast twin-engined Specials 
There will be a burger bar / ice-cream van, a live band on the Saturday night, with a bonfire. The amenities are basic: there is a toilet block (but no showers) and no drinking water supply, so bring your own (or just beer!)
Championship 2CV racers Steve Walford and Nick Clarke (Car 55) help run the track - in fact, quite a few members of Melton AG assisted Steve in his first attempt at the Snetterton 24hour race in 2011 - so they would be more than happy to see a few more 2CVs turn up
