Ah well, don't like crowds, don't like sitting in ques, basically I'm a miserable git. Went up to the Trundle, walked round the hill fort in the sun, admired the views, then drove back down Chalkpit Lane - this has some wonderful gullies in now after 2 years of rain - proper 2cv road! Should include in a future 'ballad'!
