I have been a bit of a mess over the last 36 hours, probably a bit too many fags and booze and not enough sleep. A few highlights spring to mind though, mainly Harry falling off the bike, oboe getting his car proper muddy in the hooning field, Tarquins 7000rpm exit from the field and immediate petrol shortage, James Kellys adventures and some really nice cars. Neil and Jono are turning me into a proper geek, I felt a bit dirty to be honest. Lucy Cutlers newly restored SPOT was particularly geek worthy, as was the 13000 mile from new red special (I seem to recall the owner is on here? If so, nice car!). Was nice to meet a few people I'd not met before too. I met a bloke on the way home who makes those rubber 2cv window regulators, one of which he gave me just saying 'buy me a pint next time', which was very kind of him.

I realised I've been missing 2cving, after all the last camp I went to was spa, and before that Salbris. Apart from snetterton the next one I'm likely to do is Spain which is a bit sad, but it was certainly good to see everybody again this weekend.

Yes, that was me. I will put Michelins on next time, I promise.

Nice to meet everyone.

A cracking car that even has that new 2cv smell - pity it can't be bottled!

Yup
were sitting here planning the Spain trip trying to book campsites etc

some stuff to watch there is allocated pitches for each unit so if you want to be beside your chums pre book or turn up together and get allocated the same area.

borrow a child and get speedy boarding and a pitch near the toilets and bars!

sigh i need some sun on my 2cv.

Sean,I missed you on Saturday,I did look for you in the camping field, but not knowing what you look like it was a bit difficult.I had a picture in my mind of a wild Scotish dude with a kilt on and a blue face with a white cross driving a 2cv,but couldnt find one
Could you post my nuts? ;)
