I love the feeling of seeing a Camper in the distance on the motorway, flicking the main beam on and flying up behind and past it.

Most of the ones I see on the motorway are on the hard shoulder

The Brooklands Double Twelve Driving Concours Classes For 2012
At the Brooklands Museum, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 0QN

June 16th – 17th

A special match-play class for VW Beetles and Citroen 2CVs is open to the best six cars from each manufacturer and we hope to see some early and of course interesting cars.

They will accept 6 cars from each make and would like to encourage interesting, classic and/or original cars as much as possible. The tests are great fun and include a timed run up Test Hill.

We need members who would like to enter and also to come along and support the team entry of course.

There are some wonderful celebration classes scheduled.

More details of the event is available on their website www.brooklandsmuseum.com

If interested contact Colin Jenkins at mehari@2cvgb.com

I thinking might send in an entry form for this. It's pretty local and whilst I'm not 100% sure it's going to be my scene, it might be a cheap ish weekend.

I'm going to go on one or both of these days. I live just outside the banking, so I think even my car will make it ;). Not going to enter into the comp though, only 50 miles since rebuild and wouldn't want to embarrass myself!

Annoyingly the only date that was free for testing the race car was this weekend, so I won't be able to go now.
