Re: Spain 2013
Don't look at me for photos, it was bloody hot, over 40 degs, the usual massive pile of beer bottles was matched by one of water bottles. It wasn't as good as czech or salbris, but I did get to cane the car around the track and didn't kill it.

if it was 5 - 10 degrees cooler in the day it would have been one of the best I've been to. Buzzing meeting.

I don't actually like it, but I can appreciate that there's a lot of work gone into that Hot Rod, not least to keep it shiny! It never ceases to amaze me what folk will do with an A-Series

Re: Spain 2013
it was hot.. bloody hot, even in the shade..
Had a good meeting, cold beers and other drinks, had some chats with people, met new people, didn't get drunk, left saturday to go to St. Tropez, and that was when the trouble started..
Ami broke down, with a grumbling sound at 5000rpm.. When we stopped for refuelling and food the box was crunching when changing gears en changing was really hard to do.. Got in contact with the ANWB, who send a beavertail which brought us to Berga, Spain. We were dropped of at a hotel, the car to the local Citroen dealer. sunday was a lazy day in the hotel (aico) and walking/eating. Luckily we found the location of the garage. Monday got in contact with the ANWB to get a rental car (they need to get me back on the road in 48h..) That was a 2013 Honda Civic, which was located in Girona. Got there by taxi, collected the car and went back to the hotel... Tuesday drove to the citroen dealer (to collect our stuff and proceed our holiday), in which none of the employees spoke one word english.. Got a go with google translate, and they wont be able to work on the car before friday. Told them to dont repair the car, let me take the stuff out and that the ANWB will get in touch with them to collect to car for transport to Holland.. No issue and left the car.
Had a 4 day holiday in france with the Honda, which seemd a good car to drive.. Got back late last night, brought the Honda back to the ANWB and all I have to do now is wait for the Ami to show up in a few weeks.. A bit of bad timing, since the pickup will be of the road as well for some rebuilding...
