Yeh, we've missed the x0th anniversary.

First one was summer '90 - everybody had black ribbons tied to their mirrors, because production was just ending. Second was summer '00.

Yeah - you're quite right, Sean, we'd probably struggle to fill anything nowadays - can't even fill the Brayford Wharf, which is why we ain't botherin'....

Pity really - it's 20 years since the first (10 years since the last, evidently) and 30 years of the Bridge.

:(

I suspect you might be confusing the "black ribbon" incident with Top Farm [?] at Wakefield in 1990.

The date which was the usual Saxilby/Brayford Wharfe weekend [24th-26th june] the "RADARS" [Rotherham And District Association of Roaming Snails] are planning a camp near Bawtry ......[at "The Pilgrim Fathers Campsite"].
Its a good site,in a nice area, loads of history [Robin Hood & all that] ......I'll post more details nearer the date.

best regards
Terry

Unlikely, since I wasn't at that one...

But confuzzlement generally is far from impossible.
