[quote="richardmorris"]Yes the ENAC was very nice. I followed that renault alpine all the way up to the A3 - was followed by an Aston Martin DB5 too. There was a red 2CV further down the finish straight, and I parked my 2CV near the coffee sellers opposite the paddock, so all in all quite a few citroens around despite the rain.[/quote

That would be my red heap of shite. We saw your blue one parked up to but didn't see who got out of it or would have said hello! Hopefully the weather will be better next month.

The picture of that NSU 1000 got me wondering why the bonnet was propped open, as the engine's at the other end.
Anyway, a search for 'NSU 1000' found this bit of oneupmanship.

Any ideas as to how the 2 litre single cylinder thing might run?

This was on Retro Rides:

The NSU was probably the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. There was much head-scratching over what was powering it until the owner revealed it was a Vauxhall XE..... Mounted amidships in a Lotus Europa chassis... with a Prinz shell hung over the top :o

As far as I know, mine was the only ami6, the other ami which was white was an 8 is Matt Dampers. I went round and had a chat with the couple who own that old c plate 2cv last night, what a lovely couple they are too.
