I was hoping to do that, but unless the clutch I ordered this morning arrives tomorrow (unlikely), I won't be able to. Unless there are plenty of willing volunteers to push an engineless Ami all the way to Hay. :D

Just a reminder that this Sunday (27th) the Wye Knot Club will be holding it's first outing/convoy from Waitrose carpark in Abergavenny, to Hay-on-Wye on the Cymru & Lloegr (Wales & England) border. All welcome and the weather looks fairly favourable too.

Fab! Have a great day. Hope someone documents it and does a write-up for the 2CVGB mag/new website about this and the Wye Knots - maybe even Jenny's experience/advice on setting up a new local group?! :)

No, not yet. I'm hoping to get approval at the next Committee meeting (end March) and launch with what we have, which will include a whole lot more content/photos/news, an interactive local groups map, improved events listings, the new SPOG shop and a limited Club shop.

After some of the comments on here, though, I'm tempted to do the planned forum upgrade to phpBB (like here) before we launch as well, but if I do that, it would make sense to migrate the hosting at the same time (I'm painfully aware of the excessive and erratic downtime from the current hosting)... ugh! That may have to remain Phase 2.

Anyway, major changes - in one form or another - will, hopefully, be online by end March. :D

Any advice on how to go about doing a write up for the mag, always wondered if it was only certain people who did the write ups or what?
