A rough time guide for Sunday's run to Barry is as follows
c1100 - Leave Magor Services
To Newport via Magor, Redwick, Whitson, Goldcliff, Nash and A48
Leave Newport on B4239 through Duffryn and St Brides Wentlooge
c1200 - Arrive The Six Bells Inn in Peterstone Wentlooge for refreshments (tea, coffee)
c1230/45 - Leave The Six Bells Inn to Cardiff on B4239
Follow the road at the back of Tremorfa, through East Moors
Past Atlantic Wharf and Welsh Assembly
Join A4055 out of Cardiff to Penarth, past Penarth Pier
Join B4267 out of Penarth to Sully
Join A4055 to Barry and then on to Barry Island.
Arrive c1330-1400 for Chip lunch

Re: Wye Knots 2CV Club (Herefordshire) OK, I'm almost sorted now - finally had the exhaust re-clamped (and so Hugo is now somewhat quieter) and will be tidying up the inside of the van before teatime An early start in the morning - Magor is almost 100miles away! Sitting in the Tarrington planning it seemed like a good idea at the time; have just checked the mileage - it'll be around 300miles by the time I reach home!

Re: Wye Knots 2CV Club (Herefordshire) Where's the last month gone? Pub meeting again this evening at The Tarrington Arms, Tarrington, all welcome. I'm just about to leave home and have a trip down to Welsh Wales to give the 2CV it's first proper run since Spanners kindly dropped in the 'Slag' engine two weeks ago. Will head to Tarrington on the way home this evening.
