I'd be up for a new year camp, like the ones of old. Anyone else remember that one up near Hebden Bridge when it snowed and we all slept in the pub? 1996, I think. |

Rhythm Thief wrote: Why not? Do tell ... I thought I'd make a day of it, so set off fairly early and got there for around 10:30am. There were no public toilets I could find open and nobody else turned up till around 1pm IIRC, so I was sat in the car, cold, bored and busting for an almighty piss on a similar scale to Noah and his flood ![]() ![]() Think I'll volunteer to work on New Years Day, it'll be far more preferable. ![]() |

Those Hebden Bridge camps where things of legend. Waking the landlord of The New Delight Inn so he could deal with a beer delivery! Happy times. I'm working New Years Eve till 4.30pm, but have New Years Day booked off just in case a party comes along! |

I usually head down to hayling Island. Bare in mind it is organised by a local group who all know each other but they're a friendly bunch and I've always enjoyed it ![]() |
