Well looks like I'm coming most likely in some british piece of rubbish as donna no longer has a bonnet... will come and say hi though!

Well I (and my guest) thoroughly enjoyed yesterday and I really didn't think that £8 to park all day & be transported by shuttle bus was excessive. In fact when you compare it to city centre parking, it's a bargain.

Even if I hadn't been representing 2CVGB I would've been happy to pay the £20 entrance fee.

Wow, that was amazing to see those Slough-buildt cars. Thanks a lot to the guide we spoke to there who knew a whole lot about them.
After Wales Rally GB me and my cousin drove to NEC and enjoyed a couple of hours there before taking the plane back home. Well worth the 20£ entrance fee + parking :)

There was a conversation around here recently about metallic paints, someone said the paint on some ripples was described as metallic, well that certainly looks metallic, is it in the flesh? It also looks like it's got a pink/purple pearlescent flip, but I assume that's just the lights. Thinking about it, that would be hilariously tasteless.

Am I the only person who finds Sloughs a bit ugly? It's the headlamp bar, wing mirrors, bonnet mascot and bumpers that I don't like, they just don't look as nice to me as a French built ripple.

I agree about wing mirrors bumpers and headlamp bar, don't know why I like the bonnet thing, but I do. Were there any french factory original pickups?

Yeh they don't look as clean cut as normal ripples. Having said that I LOVE the look of belgian 50s cars, which seem to have just as much tack/chrome on them.
