Post Camp Halloween 29-31st October
This seemed to go down fairly well last year, so we thought we'd do the same again!

Same place again:
The Wharf Inn,
Fenny Compton,
Warwickshire,
CV47 2FE

It's on the A423 between Southam and Banbury. For those coming from the south, it's on the north side of the canal and the entrance is opposite a place selling cherry pickers, not in a farmyard!

Camping's a fiver a pitch per night. We're not doing anything as organised as last year's trip to the transport museum, but will probably have a convoy somewhere or other on Saturday, possibly involving kite-flying! There's a apparently a (very) small chance we might be able to go and play at the Jaguar test track, but I think kites are probably more likely!

All welcome :)

I'll be there with the parents. It was bloody brilliant last year. :)

Sounds good, I'll be there although I might be arriving in my Fourtrak if I can't get hold of a proper car between then and now.

Good stuff :)

We've been down to the pub this afternoon. They're doing two meals for £8.50 (I think) until 6pm, although the normal menu's not expensive anyway, they're doing breakfasts these days as well, the toilets inside will be open overnight (but so will 'our' bathroom, apparently!). The caravans that were on the field last year have gone, and we can move the picnic tables from the beer garden if necessary, so there'll be plenty of space!

And they're also having a Halloween fair thing on Sunday afternoon, so anyone who wants to stay on for that will be very welcome!

If I can get permission from Domestic Management (or better still, persuade her to come along) and if I buy Russ's Ami next weekend and can get the gearbox sorted in time then I'm hoping to be there. 8-)

So it would seem Rhythm Thief will be coming along as he now has the Ami - who else will be sporting suitable fancy dress on Saturday night? :?:
