When I went before it took me three hours from aulnay to the port, but I didn't stop once on the way, it's feasible to do in a day if like me you're close to a uk port, I'm guessing Dutch and Belgians will have a similar distance to drive?

P & O are doing Day trip ferry tickets for £19 (with free wine and Bogof meals)

But maybe driving 200 miles to Paris and then back is a lot to do in a day.

I guess Eurostar would be the easiest option but a mad dash in a 2CV sounds equally appealing with that £19 offer...

Yep, me too. If I get the 8am train and 6pm return to Paris its £59, not including going to/from London (usually around £15) so not too bad. I think this is probably the most achievable way for me to go, given it's the end of the leave year.

How much notice do you need from us Russ as to whether we can go or not?

I'm trying to figure out the cost of using the Peage, will be at least 20euro each way, but it's a straight run, so seriously considering it.

I'd be up for going as well.

Might take the Xzara tho as it can get to Paris on a tank as opposed the the 4x4 which has to refuel at Dover!!

If anybody can't get to Paris on 10th Feb, the CCC have a date booked for early May. Drop me a PM, and I'll see if we can get you on the list - there's spaces at the mo.

Obviously, preference will be given to club members if there's too many people interested, but I can't see non-members would be a problem if there's otherwise empty spaces.
