Hi All, It looks very much like there will be a Firkin Freezin this year. At the mo there aren't any definite details but it looks like we'll be back at The Shady Oak near Whaley Bridge, either on the first or second weekend of February. OK folks, you can pretty much ignore most of that previous post. Firkin Freezin 2010 will be at...... The Wild Boar Inn Wincle Nr Macclesfield Cheshire www.thewildboar.co.uk Weekend of the 13th and 14th February. That's on the A54, and is the same place as last year. Wiltz and Annie tried the Shady Oak - but it's gone all gastro pub and didn't like the sound of the likes of us!! The Wild Boar are happy to have us back, and will lay on some sort of band for the saturday night. Dig out yer thermals and blankets - let's go camping! Rumble |

Yup all booked Alan and Val are expecting us from Friday 12th lunch time until sometime on the Sunday 14th. As Aidan says at The Wild Boar same place as last year. Camping £5 per person per night - toilet and shower on site. Good food, beer and pub with open fires. Kim & Luke have just got engaged and will hijack the Saturday night as an engagement party so bring your dancing shoes and head banging hair. More info here and in the February 2CVGB News. il be there , its my last 2cv camp in the uk ,for a bit , as im off overlanding it to oz in april  so get ur self there and spend a weekend in the pub getting smashed !! |
