yes, we'd have been organising it in conjunction with the C2CVRC and Snetterton. The beauty of the venue for us was that all that side of things was in place allready. Saved me typing it out again, cheers Adrian! Although I'll add that I personally like 2cv clubs and without them, we'd not have been able to enjoy any of the events we've been to. There's certainly a place for them even in the modern internet world, but I like to see this site as more than an alternative, as Adrian says, we will never have any real financial clout to do the things a traditional subscription-fee based club can do. and finally, Louis, that was Neil. (not on the bonnet, obviously)

Re: Is there going to be an Inter-National in 2010? I don't think there was ever a question about there not being a meeting in August hosted by 2CVGB in 2010. It was just a question of who was going to organise it, if no local group came forward there was a contingency plan for others (ie individuals - not a local group as such) to arrange it with the support of the committee. There has been one for years and years now and I couldn't see the club as a whole letting it slide for a year (unless there was a WM or ICCCR meeting that is...)
I like this forum and did when I was Secretary of 2CVGB not that long ago xx
