I will arrive to Heathrow at 25th 14.00. No plans after that yet.

Heading down to Sparsholt this morning to help with the set up.

Gate will be open from 14.00 hours Thursday 26th. This is going to be pretty strictly enforced by stressed out , knackered, no doubt wet, hard working volunteers.

This may well be the last national for a couple of years... no volunteers for 2011, and 2012 will be the ICCCR in Pickering.

Having been one of the people in that position last year, I sympathise. The attitude of some people - and the abuse they gave out - when told that the gate wouldn't be open until the time published well in advance in the mag, absolutely boggled me. I expect it of the pig-ignorant public-at-large, but not 2cvers. Fair shocked and saddened me, it did.



Yet. We've been at this stage of the year - later, even - without volunteers before. It's always come good.

Why not do it at the 24hr race? It's perfect.

Snetterton 2011?

If your not an animal owner? race tracks don't allow pets in, thats why we can't attend the 24hr as much as we'd like to.

Fair enough. Won't bother looking into it then.
