Unleaded was about €1.50 a litre - although not much in the way of supermarkets apparently. Shortest route there and back from Calais is 600miles. ie three tanks-full at about £35 a tank. So £105 - I am probably expecting to do ~double this mileage.

In this modern age of internet and cameras everywhere, I'm surprised the organizers aren't placing web-cams around the site-especially in the beer/stage tent to let people unable to go a chance of seeing what's happening and what they are missing.

 Re: Salbris 2011
Will be a fair way south of Calais this time next week, probably near Paris somewhere.

Reckon for us it'll be 2 and a half tanks ish each way, plus another two or so during the week if I get dragged into visiting the boring castles It's easier to work in tanks than trying to figure out how much it'll actually cost, but I'm guessing LOTS. Just out of curiousity I googled North East England Where I Is!! to Salbris a total of 1,095km One Way and there give and average fuel cost aswell (not sure what it is based on though!!) but it was 154 Euros, might give someone a rough idea of fuel costs!!!!

 Re: Salbris 2011
I am all about 8.15 drinking. As soon as I get back from the post office with my euros on Friday morning I'm going to have a g+t and wait for my salbris taxi to pitch up. I despise being a passenger in any car but I think being completely arseholed might well see me through y'know.

Been Nav for Rochfort twice now, and the best bit is getting pissed and being able to nod off whilst someone else drives. Also buying stupidly large things on the flea market that someone else has to bring home for you.
