Re: Czech republic 2009 World Meeting. You're thinking of France 2010 Brian, which is the French national meeting, that's in Caen. The french WORLD meeting is in Salbris (last I heard) which is easy to reach even with only one gear in your gearbox.

According to the couple driving that Burton they'd only toured Scotland, but he did say Burtons were very common in Clogland compared to their rfarity on the streets here. I guess the Rye/Hastings Burton was one of the hundreds with Dutch plates. He said it was common for him to see Burtons and 2CVs all over Holland on a daily basis. I was the first 2CV he'd seen in all his UK travels.

We fly out Sunday tea time, planning to travel over to meet the prebookers on the Monday at about lunch, one problem. Dad and Lesley are going in with Suzanne and Alex in their car, however me and Lolly have no car to go in, and therefore can't get in. So if anyone has any space, or thinks that we may perch on some bags etc, we'd be v grateful and would go halves on the ticket with you. Lemme know. Lots of love. xxxx

Try to get earlier ferry - if not, then 4am sat! Meeting Coops and Carol in Antwerp sat am. Then blast across Belgium & Germany. Camp somewhere saturday. Aiming to camp near Colditz Sunday night. Then 70 miles to Most on Monday.
