So, if having been asked to cease and desist from bonnet-sledging, (as you will be!) you then have to decide whether to continue, if so then the insurance falls on the driver/and/or the registered keeper of the car, ie if a tent/car/person if hit by a random bonnet, please consider the repercussions in the morning! Please bear in mind that most of us have standard Social Domestic and Pleasure "SDP" insurance, which forbids "Rallying and racing".....sorry chaps, but 'elf n safty' etc etce etctettdcttctc
