had a great time at waggel this year! new location, and looks really nice. toilets and showers with warm water, all kept clean by the people from the campsite. I doubt I will get along to it next year what with Spain too, but it's still such a shame it's held the same time as the French hold there meeting, I'm sure attendance would be up if it was a different time of year! How many cars were there ? |

I heard 131.. Few years it was 300+ cars, and the last 2 years the attendance tumbled down.. Now they want to get the "Waggel-feeling" back, give the meeting back to the visitors instead of the board.. It was bigger than last year, and hopefully it will be a big meeting in a few years, like it was 4-6 years back. The date will almost always clash with the French National.. Waggel has been organised for decades around Ascension Day, because then the most of the people have a 4 day weekend. |
