Re: Knebworth 1992
Anyone remember the wind at Knebworth? ...and the rain ...and the mud. Was that where the ploughed field race was held? The bonnet flying off someone's Dyane, but they kept going? ken.

My old car. Bought with 17,000 miles on the clock and died at 167,000. It was also my first National and 2CV camp. Drove down from Edinburgh to get there.

Re: Knebworth 1992
Great to see such a good response to the pictures I put up Mad that I've had these pictures kicking about for nearly 18 years ( just had to add that up twice to check ) yet I put them up here and some amazing connections come up, HJB was there aged nine! Aiden there too, it was Mark's first meeting the same as me.... The Dyane with no bonnet in the ploughed field race I'm pretty sure was my old friend Julian Gough, whose next Dyane I posted pictures of here viewtopic.php?t=1143&start=10I do remember the mud at Knebworth, I also remember Mikey getting his ?Cote Dyane sideways enough to end up with mud landing on the roof! Impressed!

Re: Knebworth 1992
Neil, t'was indeed. Looks as though that Dyane started the race sans bonnet, but at least I got the year right. Also got that poster on the wall behind me. Off to t'pub since there's really no hope left and while I can still remember the way. 35 metres due North, last time I found it. ken Neil wrote: was it this one, Ken?
