I hope it's a fairer race this time though, I aim to get there with a fully functioning car.

Was first to go east... Or to the west, Stokholm, Oslo, Bergen, Newcastle. Just saw great program of the most beautifull gardens. So i thought to follow that route. No can do :( Why is that ferry line down?

Thanks to the ash cloud grounding aircraft  there was a single ferry on that route today, first one in two years or more.

Haha just realised I need to book holiday for this... thats 3 weeks off then :D

Any one else got route plans/ideas? I'm tempted by a ferry to Bilbao and go via Spain on the way there, and come back via either cherbourg or calais.

hmmm cherbourg to Guernsey to poole? tempting
