Tom, any chance you can give me an address for the start/meeting point? I'm thinking I might come as my weekend plans have changed and I regret failing last year. I'm just trying to work out what times to book my train for.

Adres should be Zondereigen 2, Baarle-Hertog.
If you enter just Zondereigen in Google Maps, it centres on the church, where you need to be.
Start is between 10 en 14h.

Post Re: Christmas Barn Tour
I would have loved to attend this, but it's logistically and economically impossible.

If I travel via the earliest (07:00) Ramsgate-Oostende ferry it's 360 miles return by road from south London plus an £80 ferry crossing (ignoring meals and refreshments) it's just not affordable. Add the fact that the ferry crossing time is 4h 30m and the drive from the port takes a minimum of 2h 10m then the earliest I'd arrive is at 14:40 (local time). By then the tour has completely finished.

Alternatively there's the 06:00 Dover-Dunkerque ferry, but my mileage goes up to 460 miles return, a minimum 3h drive from the port and the ferry charge rises to £120. Even then, the earliest (local) arrival time is 12:00, 2h after everyone has started the tour. Getting up at 02:30 to catch the 04:00 ferry still only just gets me there by 10:00 (local) if the journey is perfect and with no delays, wrong turns, weather issues or refuelling stops.

Sorry... :(

Lots of snow is expected for the following days..
Putting the roofrack on the Ami tomorrow, need to find a Christmas tree to put on the roofrack decorated with some plastic balls I got at BP.... Also have some fake christmas tree stuff to decorate the roofrack.

Just got back home!
Was a great tour, with some off-roading (very muddy/hilly/bumpy/slippery). Finding out were to go was sometimes a bit hard, but me made it up to 3/4 of the route.. Then went back home.

Very cool, Tom, thanks for posting the pics. How many turned up?

I so wish I could have been there, but it now appears that getting home would have been rather difficult.
