Post Project Raid Europe - 2CV6 Spécial
Right,

Heres a car im about to buy. Its currently my dads but im kindly taking it off his hands.
This car was previously owned by James Duffell. He had way to many 2cvs. So had to sell some.

Heres the car in question...To be honest i dont no to much of about its history. It's travelled 176,000 + miles so far, including to San Francisco and back. Duffell might catch wind of this and give you guys some info.

Two resons why were getting this car... Vick needs a car. (My girlfriend finally converted to a-series. :) ) And september 11th were hoping to book a one way ferry to Europe.
Reason : We have to be out the house. And to be hionest i quite fancy packing up a leaving for a year. Becasue i can.

I have started this thread really for your input really. I got this so i dont take the van becasue ill be gutted if a trash that.

Although we will be doing motorways etc.
I also want to be able to go off road for long lengths. In all terrain in all countries. So id be looking to take on anything within reason. The usual water driving aswell. (Im not going to ask vicks opinion on this.)

Any ideas? Im guessing im going to be looking at a raid type ready car?

Cheers.
Max.

Offroad in Europe  . It can be anything from Latvian dirtroad to french mud. Eastern Europe is nice and cheap. So the car. Just as is, as long it is not full of rust. Put some more lights both front and back and inside. Put the kicthen sink back and cover it with sheet and lock and u have a good storage for extra money and papers. No one will find that place for them.
