is it possible to put a porsche engine in a 2cv

Dead easy in a van or Mehari, and probably not too bad in a Dyane or Ami estate. 2cv's going to be a bit trickier, although you might get it in the roof.

Ami saloon'd be impossible, though.

I've just had a delivery of nice shiny new tupperware... Woo!

Add that to the big box of G engine bits in the back of the Saab, and More Things Might Happen soon.

Are you intending to take this to Czech Adrian?

If so looks like you've got your work cut out...

Top tip I remember from my GS powered Acdyane. Park outside someone elses house as the engine had a tendency to leak oil!!

Such is the plan. Ellie's even agreed to it in theory.

Just keep your eyes open at the WM. For a certain 'gooner with red roof... <g>

That's OK, it'll just add to the Saab's territorial markings

...has been averted, through the joys of fleaBay...

A tenner doesn't seem much to be sure if 175/65 tyres off a Mini will actually fit or not...

I've swapped the G alloys for a set of G steels - the ones that look a little like Ami Super rims, but wider and with a large centre hole. So - chuck that rubber onto one of the rims, and see whether they fit onto the car.

Even if it closes at that price, I'm a bit more than six quid's worth of petrol further from South Wales than Stevenage...

Anyway, the other one's in the boot of the Saab at the mo. Blimey, that's one HEAVY tyre.

You going to be making some adapters there then, Adrian? Or just using three of the six holes :D
