Just popped on the Shetland Webcam website and see the car was spotted and a screenshot posted on the site forum when it was parked up while I was in town just after I got off the ferry from Aberdeen this morning.

Is that the police station from the series?

That is just out of shot to the right. The TV 'police station' is actually next door to the real police station.

Been down in the south Midlands since last week. I left Shetland on Tuesday night and drove down from Aberdeen Harbour during Wednesday, arriving in Warwickshire at 4:30pm. Had a pretty bad oil leak fixed by J.A.C. Autos during Thursday and Friday with the engine out on a bench. Got a new front crank seal fitted and a leak from the oil pipe banjo union sorted. I've done a few hundred miles so far with no sign of fresh oil escaping. I'm booked on the Sunday night ferry back home to Shetland so I'll be leaving Worcestershire on Saturday and take both days to get to Aberdeen.

Oh, and I've managed to find a shop in Cheltenham that sells 6-volt batteries, so I have one safely jammed in the boot so it can't tip over, and it'll be fitted to the Morris when I get home.
