Oh 'eck!! I checked the MOT last night(knowing it was due in September) and it's up on the 6th. I'm due to take it up to Scotland on the 7th (Outer Hebrides). Fortunately, I have it booked in for 9am tomorrow morning...So fingers crossed.

Where in the Hebrides are you going - which Isles? I'm originally from Lewis though haven't been back there for many a year.

Thanks Strangely enough....Harris & Lewis. I mean to travel up on Monday the 7th and cross from Uig on Skye, on Tuesday afternoon.

And if the roads are as poor as I remember them, then the soft suspension will be a godsend... The crossing through Skye is certainly the way to go - you will love it. Fab beaches in Harris - Scarista, Luskintyre, and plenty others I can't remember! (Would love to see some photos afterwards... )

Superb roads..... And superb weather... Loved every minute of it. Would love to go back and spend more time there.

Thanks guys, will certainly take plenty of photos Lenny...What's with the road sign, with the flying pig? Are they some sort of rare breed?
