It could be more reliable with an extra support diagonal between the two legs , or legs and horizontal beam.

Nope, it isn't, so I'd have thought some knee bracing should be enough for Rob's frame.
It doesn't need to be as pretty as these ones... ;)

I should be able to knock something up out of these old Nature Reserve sign frames from work. I want to be able to 'flat pack' them after the Dyane is finished, maybe they could go to Portugal :?:
