I carried on getting the body free from the chassis 'cos it's gonna have to come off. I learnt how the doors come off, tiny, little, what look like 'Rawlpins' for hinge pins and a Split pin at the bottom :)

between the engine mounts and the chassis, never seen those shims before, must have had a reason..

Rob,
later Dyanes had a bolt-on engine bay undertray.
Those shims gave some extra clearance to prevent the sump fouling the undertray.
