Fit the orignal pins with a lot of copper grease.

Cheers Fer, that's very kind, I haven't decided whether to fit originals or try different material yet, the pins had seized in the old panel and the bonnet, I had to cut them out to remove it. The pins would be handy to fit the bonnet properly.
Let me know about postage etc.
Thanks :D .

Hi Fer, the pins arrived yesterday, thank you very much 8-) .
I'll get back onto the Dyane when I've got the 2cv back on the road :) .

Good show, did you see there was yellow paint on them, they came out of an yellow dyane. It became a chassis donor for an accidented grey 2cv charleston. And as the engine and gearbox of the dyane were ok i left those in. It was the fastest 2cv i ever drove... ;-)
So fast he new owner missed a bend and flattened a trafic sign with it...

Always good to have the provenance of items 8-). Always good to recycle :D .
Working on the 2cv has helped to get my flamin mojo back. I'll crack on with the yellow car this summer: should get the bodyshell done, to my lowish standards at least  .
What a strange year it's been for all of us, everywhere; and for many, sadly it still is.
Thanks again Fer.

Got a fair bit of grinding back to do and I guess some filler work, but not today 'cos it's beer time :). Having trouble with my welder, it's either too strong or not strong enough(it can't be me can it :?:) and issues with my automatic welding helmet. Got a horrible feeling I'm gonna get arc eye later on tonight. Haven't had that since I was an apprentice ;) . Beer will help, better get some hankerchiefs ready  .
