Re: Yellow Dyane
Thanks Fer, He's the man you want to do a proper job, love the way he was checking that the arms were in specification. I have bought some repair panels and hope to start cutting out the rot soon. On firewood duty at the moment.

It was whilst cleaning the oven that I realised it was time to start on this flamer. P1020917 by Robndaisy, on Flickr P1020922 by Robndaisy, on Flickr Once the spotwelds were released, off it popped. Re: Yellow Dyane
Cheers Fer, I'm not planning on storing the wheel in the engine bay so that's a win.

Re: Yellow Dyane
The spare will be in the back, putting some weight on the rear wheels.

Re: Yellow Dyane
Thought I'd take the rear wings off, P1020934 by Robndaisy, on Flickr P1020936 by Robndaisy, on Flickr wish I hadn't, one bumpstop might be ok, the other bailed out a while ago. Ah well, 'so it goes'. P1020938 by Robndaisy, on Flickr The firewall joins the windscreen panel here. I removed what was left so I can get a reference. The plan is to locate the firewall before attacking the upper panels, inside and out. P1020939 by Robndaisy, on Flickr This camera light and clamping bracket is very handy, extremely bright and no leads just rechargeable lithium batteries. P1020940 by Robndaisy, on Flickr An initial trial fit, there's more of it to trim off though. Much thicker sheet, I guess to avoid having to press the stiffeners into it. Most of the holes are at least 1/2 a hole out. Ah well... I'll warn you in advance, the repairs may include pop rivets.

Re: Yellow Dyane
Just too mean to buy a decent Dyane Pete. P1020956 by Robndaisy, on Flickr The driver's side shelf impersonating a colander. I can't patch that easily. P1020958 by Robndaisy, on Flickr So I cut it out, just got to make a template and then just got to make up a piece and then just got to weld it in.
