Re: Yellow Dyane
We never had crazy winds up here in Mid Wales, a few tin sheets blew off an old shed but nothing else, lots of rain and hail but that's typical for us . https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/976/cpspr ... 970892.jpgAlthough this was photographed at a town 15 miles away! And you ?

Re: Yellow Dyane
Thats coming together nicely I should investigate my visa engine. It's been stood for a long time I suspect. It's been suggested that the nikasil can delaminate.

Re: Yellow Dyane
Well new barrels are available I guess. P1030625 by Robndaisy, on Flickr As to be expected, also a corrosion hole in the pipe between the exhaust manifolds, i'll braze it up for the bench test and have ordered a secondhand replacement from St.Ives, they get everywhere these Flamers! P1030626 by Robndaisy, on Flickr I've fitted the front cowl just to remind myself where everything goes, it'll come off for bench testing and I'll try and get some paint that matches, dunno what colour it should be though, a dark brown on this one . P1030627 by Robndaisy, on Flickr There's shiny . P1030628 by Robndaisy, on Flickr The oil feed pipes to the heads needed minimal adjusting to give sufficient clearance.
