We never had crazy winds up here in Mid Wales, a few tin sheets blew off an old shed but nothing else, lots of rain and hail but that's typical for us ;) .

Although this was photographed at a town 15 miles away!

And you ?

I'm using the crankshaft and cam from the 1970's e bay engine 'cos it's in better condition...I hope :) .

I didn't think the new O ring would stretch and survive but Pete had more bottle and hey presto!

Thats coming together nicely :)

I should investigate my visa engine. It's been stood for a long time I suspect. It's been suggested that the nikasil can delaminate.

Well new barrels are available I guess.

As to be expected, also a corrosion hole in the pipe between the exhaust manifolds, i'll braze it up for the bench test and have ordered a secondhand replacement from St.Ives, they get everywhere these Flamers!

I've fitted the front cowl just to remind myself where everything goes, it'll come off for bench testing and I'll try and get some paint that matches, dunno what colour it should be though, a dark brown on this one :) .

There's shiny :D .

The oil feed pipes to the heads needed minimal adjusting to give sufficient clearance.
