Re: '85 Charleston
Good idea, I'm using it like this until I'm sure it won't need lowering any more. Then I'll weld in braces, maybe some black paint as well .

The lighting switch decided i could only have Main beams, that's a bit too restrictive. Liquid supplies are important, as it is important to not dehydrate. Rob: How did you get on with the seat height in the previous posts?

Re: '85 Charleston
lowered it another 50mm. Roger, it's better but the top of the screen still blocks my vision, I'm too tall for the car, should have got a Dyane I might take it down a bit more but then it's harder getting in and out . https://www.hslchairs.com/?epssource=go ... voQAvD_BwE

Re: '85 Charleston
It is difficult to get right. I'm far to low with the seat bolted to the floor. The seat has a lever to adjust the height, but its run out of adjustment. The Bedouin is tricky as well, as the body comes out flush with the wheel arches. Its nice to have the extra room, but the OEM seats are further from the doors. Moving the seats out, as I've done, means I don't line up with the pedals etc.

Re: '85 Charleston
Have them on my '78 and they seem good to me although I don't have anything to compare them to as the ones on the car when I bought it were worn out.
