Post Hi, What a fantastic Site.
Hi everyone, What a great site, just thought i'd put on a few pic's of my own, it all started with my multi coloured Dyane, back in the days when i had hair !!! 1987, then a few years passed until i got my D*lly, then i saved a Grey/Grey from the scrap yard just as they were about to drop a JCB bucket on her, then i bought a Acadiane, don't have any happy pic's of him, sorry, then i saved another 2cv from the scrapper and made my Jeep, as you can see from the pic's the poor old Grey/Grey got T-boned with my Son at the wheel, we still have him but not sure what'll become of him, anyway i've run on like a two bob watch long enough, here's the pic's, oh the Bijou is a kit also, it has a detachable roof !!

Good to have you with us!

What a fine collection of cars you have/had. Nice to see Jons old van crop up again too.

Is the Bijou a Deauville kit? where do you get the banded rimzz for the Jeep?

Ok, here goes, my rim's i got from a Dutch 2cv company "Blaauw 2cv Cars " who at the moment seem to having problems in the currant climate, ie the web site etc has gone, they to are the guy's who built the Bijou, i don't believe it to be a Deauville car but the Hot Rod is, the Bijou was finished ages ago as you can see by the finished pic's, i've added a couple of pic's also for my son, who seems intent on shrinking the 2cv population all by himself, and keeping me busy.

Indeed! what became of the Charleston? There's a guy local to me who's driving a grey/grey with cutaway wings, did it ever make it back to the road or were there two roaming about?

Hi, no Charley still sit's in my garage, not sure what to do with him yet, bit reluctant to just let him go, as i said he was saved from the crusher with just seconds to spare, the guy in the yard had the JCB bucket resting on the roof ready to squash, had to patch the holes in the roof to take it home, after doing the work for the MOT my sister inlaw bought it off me and took it down to Brighton, then moved to the Isle of Wight, then two years ago she had him vandelised, smashed the lights clean off the bar, wrecked the roof, dented the bonnet, boot, doors and wings, so i bought him back and put him on the road, my son had his Blue 2cv and i had the Grey/Grey and the Jeep, hence the earlier pic of all three, then the blue 2cv was crashed beyond repair and my son neaded another car, so he bought Charley, then as my son turned right into a junction a guy from behind who couldn't stop ploughed into the side of him, that was last November, and he's sat in my garage ever since, here's a pic of it just after i got an MOT on it, note Duck tape on roof, all it required was a patch the size of a fag packet to the floor for it's test, and i got it from the scrap yard for £25, the other pic's are of it after i'd cleaned it properly before my sister inlaw took it off me, and with my old D*lly, sorry if i've bored you with my tale, ha ha i do tend to wabbit on sometimes.

Hi Mr Fudd, I love that Jeep. You may remember me chatting for quite a while about it at the National? (I have the Bedouin that was parked not too far from yours)
