Plywood in mind Wickes still in business here, its where I buy my paint for it. Balsa would be interesting! A balsa frame covered in tissue paper and doped. Its how my brother made model aircraft 50 years ago. Cant get early aircraft out of my head now! |

Balsa, tissue paper and dope, me too with a Jetex motor on the glider I had. It didn't last long before the trees took it out. |

@Roger V ; I gave you the outer dimensions of the grille itself. The opening in the hood is smaller, I guess two cm. |
