Measurement needed if someone would be so kind. :)

I'm looking to fit a submersible fuel pump and need to know the distance from the bottom of the sender to the bottom of the tank.

Edit. Plastic tank :)

Use an landrover style electric pump, this sits on the firewall....

My bike is a 30+ year old BMW K100. One of the first fuel injection motorcycles.

Fuel pump is in the fuel tank.

I was cautious of that, so had to check on Google. Petrol does not conduct electricity.

These pumps are very quiet as well.

Imho. that is no relevant for bikes.
Most of them are so loud, they even need an intercom on them to talk to each other :)

Your correct, that's why we wear crash helmets, its to keep the speakers in. :D
