Post The Black Shed
So here's my replacement for the grey shed, the black shed!

It's a 1984 Special that has been (very badly) painted black that I got if off Gery Dicks last year. After a bit of dithering as to whether to keep it or not I have decided to keep it now I've retired. It's actually in quite good condition for a 31 year old car, the rear boot floor and inner wings are really good.

So the plan is this year to do the bonnet hinge as here is a largeish hole here, replace the rear drivers side door and the front passenger door as well as a good service and seat rubbers.

Next year should see the floors and sills done and I'll also be keeping a lookout for a used galv chassis.

Steve

I ordered a black one new but it didn't arrive. So after several months i took a blue the dealer had in store. And 2 weeks later the black one came in grrrrr. ;-)

Excellent, good to see another black one, seem to be quite rare. I think my plan next year is similar to yours, a couple of bits are going to need doing (and are getting worse a lot more slowly than I expected thankfully).

at the time you could order them because they had the black paint in use for the charleston.
