Yeah, I never feel easy spending large amounts of money on small items which is why Daisy hasn't got a diamond ring. She'll have an old van to run around in though and I can reclaim my 2cv ;) .

Not my best work but '...when the Devil drives...'
I'll sort it properly next year, probably.

Spacer from a 100mm. nail saves the day. It took up the wear in the spindle end.

One more of the red then green rubber floor paint for the cockpit.
You may be wondering why hasn't the bodger fitted the recon dynamo? I'm waiting for a puller to arrive. The thread in the end of the crank is a fine Metric isn't it?

It is a fine metric thread.

Sounds like you're 'living the dream' Geert 8-) . Lucky Devil.
In an ideal world  we would drive it to Portugal, register it there and live on Daisy's land in the old house we're trying to bring back to life https://daisynrob.wordpress.com/ and probably do some airbnb or whatever it took to bring a bit of money in, gardening etc. for the ex pats. 'cos there's no chance of getting work in Nature Conservation over there!
If that doesn't happen it will have to stay here in Wales with us and I'll have to stop it rusting away :).
I'm too tall for it though, waiting for Ken to send me the plans for 'stretching it' ;) .
